What next for BJP?

Well when crisis comes it comes from every corner. That is the situation that BJP is facing now. Defeat in election, Jinnah contoversy, and now everyday bickering among senior leaders was the last straw the BJP needed right now. Mr. Advani may be scratching his hairs right now. To retire actively form politics after election would have been right decision. but now he has to set his house (party) in order now. to sever ties with RSS is right or not is the million dollar question.

Road ahead for BJP

Why did BJP lose the election? It’s a million dollar question and it seems no one has a clear answer to it. Well I had on my earlier blog on April 13 warned Shri L.K.Advani of being a little too over-confident and how his electioneering is going wrong. And I think I had then analysed it correctly. The BJP has been beaten fairly well and square in this election. And I think they should not think that they have been defeated. The people of India has laid its faith on the ruling party. Its time for re-building, reviving the party. The party faithful are looking towards its leader for a generational change in the party. A leader who can take the party forward, spell out its vision – both for the party and for the country – loud and clear. This is what we were lacking till now. A vision. The party should try to make this clear from now, not just before the election.
Its time also for removing the weeds in the party. Remove all the corrupted souls who had joined the party just before the election in order to regain power. The BJP was a party of difference and it should remain so. The party’s leaders should be from its own cadre who has been ideologically inspired to join the party and who have served the party.
There is more to write and advice. I hope my beloved party regain it sense and stand up once again for the country or else……

Is Shri L.K. Advani listening?

The election party is now in full flow. projections, prediction spells success for congress led UPA, but its not doom for BJP led NDA. At the start of the election it appeared that Shri L.K. Advani will be the next prime minister of this country. He had the current flowing in his favour. UPA was disintegrating, the country was in its worst ever economic turmoil, national security was also an emotive issue and it appeared that he was the man for the season who would inspire the country and lead it from the clutches of a weak leader led by Shri Manmohan Singh. But, look what the BJP leaders are up to? Attacking Manmohan Singh, Sonia Gandhi or Rahul Gandhi is ok but it should not be done as often as it is done now and it also should not appear to be cheap. This is what Shri Narendra Modi and other BJP leaders are doing. they are creating a false symapthy for them. Does Shri Modi does not know this? or is he doing it deliberately? i dont know. but to be fair Shri L.K. Advani can do it himself alone. he should make it clear among his party members to stop trying cheap gimmicks and focus on the core issues which are dear to the citizens of this country. this alone would bring success. Is Shri L.K. Advani listening?

let the party begin - the grand indian festival-elections

well the dates for the elections was already announced a months before. but see what we have - the parties are not able to decide on their candidates, even though the dates for nominations have arrived. all of them are interested in poaching other candidates. well it is not a good omen. the parties are finding it difficult to find out a candidates amongst them to fight for a constiteuncy. So what we have. In orissa Shri Braja Tripathy, Leader of his party in the parliament who represented his party for over three decades suddenly finding his party of not having any ideology went to BJP and is fighting election on their ticket. And see what BJD does it selects it sworn enemy of three decades shri Pinaki Mishra - a self claimed born congressman till yesterday - to fight election on its ticket. So guys, give me a break - with all these ads running everywhere to vote in the election, even aamir khan is advising - i dont know what i am going to do or to whom i am going to vote. Pinaki Mishra till yesterday was asking me to vote for congress singing praise of sonia gandhi and rahul gandhi, was cursing naveen patnaik for all the wrongdoings in orissa but now he is singing praise of naveen ji and asking to vote for BJD. well i am not able to make my mind. i need a serious break.

Varun Gandhi - A True Hero

Brickbats have been throwed upon him since the day he gave the speeches in Pilbhit. The all knowing, self claiming intelligent English electronic media houses which portrayed him as villain. Then the Election Commission stepped out of its jurisdiction and stopped short of asking the people to not to vote for him. I don’t understand what wrong he has said or why such a noise is made out of this. Our great country is known by several names like India, Bharat and Hindustan. Hindustan mean the place where the hindus reside. Hindus mean all the people living in India whatever caste or religion they may be. So when Varun Gandhi speaks about cutting of the hands that raises on hindus it should be congratulated and appreciated. Why make a mountain out of a mole hill.

Indian Election

Its now the grand festival time in India. Time for celebration of India's democracy. But the dampner seems to be the prediction which tells that its gonna be a hung parliament, with the regional parties and smaller parties playing vital role in formation of the next government. Some predict the rise of the third front and Ms. Mayawati being the next prime minister. Sharad Pawar, Lalu Prasad, Deve Gowda, Jayalalitha & Naveen Patnaik being the rest whose name are being thrown in the air for the post of Prime Minister. Various debates are being taken place whether these smaller parties or regional parties leaders are eligible for being the PM. Two party system as in the US is also being advocated. There are merits and demerits in all these thinking. But my view on this subject is little different. During the debate that took place in parliament last year over the nuclear deal, i deliberated over it and i thought why did our political parties issues a whip and asks all its MPs to vote in a similar line. i think this should be scrapped. every MP should vote according to his conscience. if he thinks a particular bill is good for the nation he should support it. A MP is deemed to possess some amount of brains and is supposed to be a rest above of the citizens who have selected him. and his views should be recorded. there were many MPs in the oppostion who supported the nuclear deal and also many MPs in the ruling party who opposed it but their views were not given prominence and they had to toe the party line. and this is not real democracy. likewise in this election let all the parties whether it is regional or national let them put up their candidates and let the people to judge them and elect them. and the party which has the largest number of MPs form the govt. and the rest of the MPs should support them over matters in the national interest. let there be no opposition party or members. the prime minister and his council of minister should work for better of the nation and they should be answerable to the parliament. they should go for the consensus of the parliament and every issue should be put to a vote. the working days of parliament should be increased. let every bill be debated and finer points be incorporated so that when a bill be passed every member or atleast a majority of members are aggreable to it. this would solve half of the problems we are facing now.
